The Sierra Leone Scouts Association continues to champion impactful youth engagement through its, Scouts for SDGs and Youth Development Program. This initiative empowers both adults and young learners with the knowledge and skills to take action for a better world.




As part of our commitment to the World Scouting Movement, we are actively engaged in the following global programs:


- Scouts Go Solar – Promoting renewable energy and climate action  

- Earth Tribe – Encouraging sustainable living and environmental responsibility  

- Life Leaders – Building leadership capacity and life skills among Scouts  

- Safe From Harm – Ensuring the protection and safety of all young people in Scouting  

- Take a Stand for Our Planet – Inspiring action to protect and preserve nature  

- Scouts for SDGs – Advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals  

- Messengers of Peace – Promoting peace-building and community development.



Through this initiative, Scouts are not only learning but leading—taking bold steps to make positive contributions to their communities and the world.


Together, we are building a generation of responsible, active citizens ready to lead with purpose, serve with courage, and shape a better future.
